Marsha Core, Director

Marsha Core, M.M., a graduate of Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ, has been conductor of Haverford High School’s two select choirs since 1987. In that tenure, she has directed major choral works with professional accompaniments, collaborated with two composers, conducted two premieres of those works, and lead three European concert tours. Ms. Core directed the ACDA Summer Conference Male Choir 2003,Bucknell University. Her own choirs have been featured at ACDA 2016 Eastern Convention, Boston, and ACDA PA Fall Conferences in 2014, Seton Hill University and at Susquehanna University in 2016. Both choirs were featured performers at the 2017 NAfME Eastern Convention in Atlantic City, NJ. Additional performances include PMEA State conventions in 2001, 2003,2012 and 2015 and 2018.

In addition to her choirs, Ms. Core also teaches music electives. Her newest venture is an adult a cappella choir, Coro da capo, now in its second year.
